Tinseltown Mudsling

June 10, 2002

It is time once again, oh faithful reader, to shake up our Hollywood bag of tricks, pour it out on the floor, and pick at the pieces. Let us fix our eyes firmly on the golden world of glam and sham. Won't you join me as we set out to tear another strip off the showbiz luminaries? Let's dish shall we?

Where do we start? Things have been quiet on the Enrique Iglesias front. Hmmm…let's check in with our pal J'Lo.

J'Lo splits with husband number 2

Jennifer Lopez and husband Cris Judd have separated after just 8 months of marriage. I think the problems started when J'Lo actually REMEMBERED she was married. "I'm married? When did this happen? Between what movie, music video, and magazine shoot did I schedule that in?" Call me crazy but Miss Lopez doesn't seem the marrying type. The bitch be busy! I have heard one of the main ingredients of a good marriage is actually seeing your partner. The "spending time together" element is vital I've heard. With all the acting, singing, touring, designing clothes, and gracing every magazine cover, it is amazing that Jennifer sleeps, let alone be a wife. Slow down dear J'Lo or love may just pass ya by!

Mary Hart marks 20 years at Entertainment Tonight

Upon celebrating her two decades at ET, Mary said she is happy as ever and fulfilled as ever being someone who kisses celebrities asses for a living. Way to go Mary, twenty years of being a glom!

Chad Kroeger's "Hero" continues to burn up the music charts

Chad Kroeger's song for the Spiderman soundtrack, "Hero" has followed the suit of his band Nickelback's two previous singles; becoming one of the most over played songs in history! Is it just me or with each new song do you find you hate Nickelback more and more? I couldn't dislike this band more if I tried…well at least not until their next song comes out. And does someone want to tell me who this Josey Scott guy is singing with Kroeger on the spidey song? Who is this clown? Oh great, another bearded, long haired freak that sounds exactly like Nickelback, just what the world needed!

Michael Jackson blames record label for poor sales

Michael Jackson has complained that his record company hasn't done enough to promote his latest album "Invincible". Oh yes, it is the record labels fault that no one bought the album. It has nothing to do with the fact that your music is tired, derivative of all your old material, and just plain bad. No, it's the record label that is wrong. Let me be the nine millionth person to tell you Jacko…it's over.
