In the words of the immortal John Lennon "Give peace a chance".

Understanding what is going on with the world right now with the conflict between the U.S. and Iraq, the BdotO is making a concerted effort to provide a distraction from the non-stop war coverage. Though we do hope everyone has an opinion on the historical events being played out on the world's stage, our goal is to provide a moments relief from the doom and gloom. Our aim is not to ignore but rather to provide a destination that is blissfully war free. Plus where else are you going to go to get your weekly dose of J'Lo burns?

Let's dish shall we?

Where do we start? Hmmm…they didn't just say Joe Millionaire did they?

Joe Millionaire and Zora break up

It is over between TV's Joe Millionaire Evan Marriott and Zora Andrich with sources claiming they haven't spoken since the reunion special back in February. Are you shittin' me? How is this possible? I thought they were a sure thing, what with them meeting on a reality show that was based on a lie and having known each other for the better part of three weeks. Is there no hope for love in this world? Reconsider Evan…Follow your heart Zora. If not for yourselves…then do it for us!

Cris Judd still loves ex-wife J'Lo

I'm a celebrity. Get me out of here! Get me out of this place…called love.

Columnist grades the networks at war

A Calgary Sun columnist has reviewed the major networks coverage of the conflict in Iraq including adopting an alphabetical grading system and making comments such as "Dan Rather's homespun quips get high marks…" Is nothing sacred? It is war coverage for Gods sake. Do we have to treat even the likes of this with the same shameless regard that we do with the rest of television? This isn't the fall launch or the latest movie of the week jerky, it is comprehensive reporting on war…let me repeat that last part so you clearly understand…REPORTING ON WAR. Do we need to sensationalize this even more then it already is? Are you that hard up for topics to write about…here I'll give you a couple:
1. "Should the Oscars should have been cancelled "
2. "Should the Dixie Chicks apologize for their comments made against President Bush"
3. "Does anybody actually watch the sitcom According to Jim"

Elizabeth Taylor gives up acting

Umm…didn't she do this like thirty years ago?

Sopranos dispute officially ends

Sopranos star James Gandolfini has dropped his lawsuit against HBO thus meaning the series fifth season will go forward as planned. Whew. I was getting a little bit worried there. It is a good thing James finally came to his senses…I was getting close to having the fat bastard whacked.

War delays new Meg Ryan film "Against the ropes"

Other reasons for the delay include…poor test screen results, numerous script rewrites, and the studio's realization that this is the new Meg Ryan film.

Zing! Take that Hollywood!

…but that's just my opinion.
