Man I have got to tell you, I am soooo happy that we finally have some good weather. Maybe it's just me but fuck I am so tired of the snow and shitty weather.

I'm probably speaking too soon, I'm sure that any day now we'll get another little snow storm that will render the city useless. I guess I'm just so tired of being cooped up in the house. Maybe having a pregnant wife has something to do with it, but I just can't go out in the shitty weather.

Today was fantastic though, my wife and I headed downtown to do some people watching. Immediately we realized as the streetcar was packed that it was going to be crazy downtown and it sure was. Every patio that was open was packed. My favorite patio in Toronto the Black Bull had a line up just to get a table. Everyone from skater kids to Hare Krishna's were out and soaking up the sun. There's just something to the first few days of spring that make just about everyone get off their asses and out into the streets.

Now normally I'd be cursing up a storm at all the jackasses driving downtown, or the fact that it takes so long to actually get downtown on the TTC. But not today, the sun is shining, I'm holding hands with my wife, and life is good.

Thank god winter is over.
