I mean I work for an ad agency and this shit is really starting to piss me off. It's my job to market to people, but aren't we going a bit too far now? It's getting so hard to find information now because we are continually inundated with fucking crap.

Case in point, I go to this website for wrestling news every day. The site is www.1wrestling.com. Now how many of you clicked on that link? Did you see the popups? I mean there are seriously say 5 popups as soon as you hit the site. Then there are a couple more when you hit a link, and then a few more when you leave. What the fuck man? Does anyone at this site actually think anyone is going to click on these things? No of course they don't, they just want to make money. They get paid by the impression, and are seriously having problems paying for their site. I understand that, but come on man. I mean I've started to go to this site less and less, if this is the way they treat their user I hope they go under. Are we forgetting people, that this is still a customer service issue?

This afternoon when I went to download a piece of software I got a messenger window popup. Now I don't have messenger installed, it's only installed through windows, I don't have an account. However, I still had this message popup and give me a message that was not only personalized with my IP address, also my name. Do you fucking believe that, I mean I can only assume they have a script that pulls your name or something from your email address? I didn't even fill out a form or anything; they totally got my info some other way. And it was a porn ad too. What about kids? I mean I was downloading an mp3 recorder, at a recognized site. And some porn ad comes up? Jesus Christ, just let me get my goddamn software and get the fuck out.

We had a popup here for awhile. The sole purpose was to see if any of you loyal followers of mine wanted to buy BdotO merchandise. You chose not too and we took it down. How fuckin simple is that? I am so sick and tired of being dictated too. Whether it be internet advertising, what I can and can't eat, or when or not I can get on the goddamn streetcar. Aren't you people sick of this too? Am I the only voice crying out in the night for fair treatment, to be treated with the respect that I give others? I can't be, I won't believe it. I know you are out there, all of you, tired with the rules that society puts forth. Tired to death of being treated as a consumer, not a person? Then come to me my children.
