I mean how many people do you know who are currently out of work? The media keeps saying that our economy is turning around? I ain't seen that shit yet. Fuck one of my best friends lost his job, then his girlfriend and him broke up and now he's giving blowjobs on the corner for 5 bucks.
I'm just kidding … they cost 10. Seriously though I mean he has been out of work for like 4 months now, and there just aren't jobs out there. I know people whose offices are about to be shut down, or have been laid off, or even fired. I mean what the fuck is going on here?
When we were kids we were told all you had to do was go to college or university and get yourself a good job and it will all be ok. That's fuckin bullshit. Back in the day, when everyone started working at a factory at the age of 12 that may have been the case, but not any more. How many jobs have you had in your life already? I've had twice as many of both my parents put together, and I'm half their ages. I have more hairnets, name tags and business cards from different positions than I know what to do with.
So what are we supposed to do?
I know this guy, who had a job for 6 years, with the same company. He loved this place, was in with the people, it was a family. The problem was, he wasn't being paid very much, and his opportunity to make money going forward was minimal. So he went out on a limb and left this place. He joined a nice new sparkling company with three times as many people. This was good he was making better money, and felt like he had a future with that company. Two years later the company had lain off almost all the employees, fired half of the management and was working their people into the ground. What could he have done? I mean fuck the guy took a chance and wanted to better his situation, only to be fucked over yet again.
This is the shit I'm talking about, out of all of my friends, most have either been laid off, fired or are looking for new jobs because they are unhappy. Does this make any fucking sense? We are the fuckin future of this huge rotating ball of snot. Instead of making this world a better place, or fucking our brains out to further our race we are bitching and complaining about our jobs. I think we as young adults and human beings need to start taking our lives back. We need to get rid of these fucking CEO's and Managing Directors who are so out of touch with what is going on in the world today. If some of these companies put less money into the management levels and more into supporting the people who build the things they sell they might still be in business. How many of these companies are changing their tunes to say how much they care about their employees and blah blah fucking blah. It's bullshit, cause you know what? When these companies go under the CEO's and management type motherfuckers all do fine. They all hop and skip along to the next job just fine and dandy. And you know who's left?

I say we all go into business for ourselves; lets stop following their rules and how they say society should be done. I am so sick of working for some fuckin jackass who thinks he knows how to do my job better than I do. Maybe one day when I'm in management I will feel differently but right now those motherfuckers are on my list. There is a hurricane coming people, and its name is DOWNS.
