So I was off work recently, and headed on up to my local pub for some lunch. Now I live close to three high schools, which normally doesn't impact my day. I am gone as they are getting to school, and I don't get home until they have all gone home. However on this particular day I was treated with seeing all kinds of budding geniuses.
What the fuck is up with this generation? I mean I was a bit of a rebel and a bad seed, but come on people. I was walking pass the bus stop and these 5 kids were taking up the street. As I walked by, I bumped into one of them. Well fuck, I thought I had just insulted someone's mother. They all turn to me, and start giving me the look. All you guys out there know what the look is. It's like, "hey man you want something."
So I shoot back a look that says, "yeah you little pissant, I want to reach into your chest cavity rip out your heart and show you how black it is."
So they backed down. But fuck me. Who the fuck do these little fucking punks think they are. There seems to be a real lack of respect for authority. Sure I questioned authority when I was younger but I still respected it.
Is it just me or is this next generation just totally fucked up? I mean I like a lot of their music, I like the angry stuff. But holy shit, how fucking angry and pissed off can these kids get? And what is so bad about being a white middle class kid these days? Oh my god my MP3 player is broke. Fuck man, shit come on man shit.
The bad thing is, you never know when you are going to get swarmed or even worse have some kid pull a gun on you. I walk through this park and they have this big swimming pool. During the summer people sometimes jump the fence and swim after hours. I have done it. So 2 years ago this 25 year old guy and his fiancée are swimming, when this kid comes up and starts yelling at this woman. I'm not sure what exactly happened, but next thing you know this kid has pulled a sawed off shot gun out and killed the guy. Do you fucking believe that? The guy was minding his own business hanging out with his woman and now he is dead.
That is like the guy who saw a kid getting swarmed and went to go help out. That guy 28 is now dead. Because he got involved and tried to help someone. This guy should have a fucking statue erected in his honor. This guy is a hero.
I will tell you what needs to be done. Parents need to start spanking their kids again. If they don't, then the public should be allowed too. If you see some fucking kid with no respect for authority fucking around you should be able to slap him. "Listen you little fucking punk, I'm going to teach you how to respect your elders." There is nothing wrong with being afraid of your parents or your elders. I lived in mortal fear of my dad, and look at me.
