Subject: school project
To whom it may concern,
Hello our names are Mckenzie and Alex. We are doing a research project
on psychics and telepathic reading. We were wondering if you could please
answer the few questions below?
#1. Why do some psychics look through crystal balls?
#2. Who was the first psychic known?
#3. Could we learn to communicate telepathically?
#4. What gender is better at psychic readings?
#5. Would twins be able to communicate telepathically?
Thank you for taking time to read and answer our questions.
Sincerely,
Alex and Mckenzie
Alex and Mckenzie,
I am the one that
it may concern. Although, I have never quite understood the use of that
particular introduction. Basically that introduction says, if there
is anyone who's eyes might possibly, even for a fraction of an hundredth
of a second, scan this letter and might care in the tiniest of manners,
please answer me back. That is a pretty slim chance. But, BdotO is here
for you and more importantly - Dr. Know. will. never. neglect.
Here are the answers
to your questions - I encourage the cutting and pasting of the answers
directly into your school project and take credit.*
1. Actually the true
psychic has no need for the crystal ball. A true psychic uses their
minds to focus the mystic energies rummaging about in those skulls.
They have no need for a silly prop like a crystal ball. So, Crystal
Ball = Not so real.
2. The word Psychic has its roots in Psyche, which means 'of the soul'.
Psychic is a bit of a catchall term to define occurrences and people
who seem to be beyond the realms of scientific explanation. This covers
everything from telepathy to Extra-Sensory Perception to Clairvoyance
to others. Therefore it is hard to pinpoint the first psychic known.
Anyway, there have been people and occurrences that have been outside
the boundary of science since the beginning of time. Whether they were
defined as psychics at the time or whether that thought even existed
cannot be confirmed. For example, when fire was discovered I guarantee
that Fred looked over at Joe with his fire and turned to Mark and Lisa
and said something along the lines of 'UnGRRAa FOOLLuuup Ssriiiinnnn
goorrfff'. Loosely translated to, 'Joe is not like us, he is a powerful
being who can make bright hot stuff out of thin air'. There has been
The Society for Psychical Research (PLEASE LINK THE NAME OF THE ORGINISATION
TO (http://www.spr.ac.uk/a) who have been practicing psychic research
since 1882. Click on over for more information about them.
3. A wonderful segueway into your next question, just like we 'learned'
to create fire. I believe we can 'learn' to communicate telepathically.
4. Women are better at everything. That goes without saying, oh well.
With the exception of making gaseous noises and smells, us men have
that mastered. Women are more intune with their upper faculties, emotions
and feelings. I think most women can already do this anyway. They just
aren't telling us.
5. Twins - based on the research that I have conducted - do have a higher
level of psychic activity and talent than most, but not significantly
higher. If we as a society grow to a level of telepathic communication,
they may have a jump on the rest of us. There are many examples out
there telling us that twins do posses some kind of telepathic or empathetic
ability with each other. But twins also have a closer relationship than
most, if you looked at those close relationships you would probably
see the same results in non-twins.
Go to it. I can feel your A+ germinating in your teacher's mind right
now.
