My question to you is this: why would a woman reject a man for a date but still offer to sleep with him? My gut feeling is that this means that the woman is promiscuous, yet for some reason I can't help but wonder if there is another plausible explanation. What are your thoughts in regard to this question?

Brian, My esteemed colleague Andrew passed on your little note. He respects you enough to send you to the Doctor. And I'm here to shed some light on your little world, share and enjoy.
First things first, come on Brian. Haven't you ever wanted to get laid? Your lady friend wants to, and you should be nice enough to indulge her. But, before you do, think about the following.
There are many more factors at work here.
Do you know her, she you?
Have you just met?
You can judge by these answers more on what exactly the scenario is. If you have known her for a while she is allowing you closer to her - albeit for fun - but friends in bed cause things to happen - one way or the other - you could end up dating, you could end up not seeing each other anymore. That's a choice you have to make - can you just say no to her without offending and ruining every chance you had with her - would sleeping with her do just that. On the flip side, if you don't know her she is most likely using you for sex. Once again this may lead to something, or not. Perhaps she just wants to use you for sex, well if you aren't up for the challenge I happen to know some folks that are.
There is a level of trust in this situation. Sleeping with a person is close, very close. For a woman to trust you that much, even if it's just for sex it means a lot. You are important to her, in some small way. This is a slice of life that almost all people don't get to see, even if it is a one time thing - perhaps you/she want, no needs to get off or feel the closeness that this provides - go with it.
Then again there is the user factor.
You have to come to terms with - saying yes or no may move the relationship towards or away from a dating scenario. At least if you say yes now you can say you have had sex with her.
Look inside yourself and decide the following.
If you could see Africa for only a day would you do it to say you've been there or would you forgo the trip because you just wouldn't' be able to truly experience it????
