Dr.Know's Advice

Good Readers, you may notice that the words you are reading are not the comforting bluish hue you are so accustomed to. Unfortunately, this week I am turning my back on all of you, you will have to make due with the pathetic advice from your friends this week. Don't fret though, next week I'll be back with all my panache, witty and superior advice you are used to.

And I promise, this column will not mention Sex With Sue (the most played out of all topics on this site, people please…).

I must admit in the volume of opinions submitted by these 3 notable people there have been some goodies. I figured this week is the week where I turn the knowscope™ onto some of our own. These 3 people have a place in our hearts here at B-dot-O, as we have been mesmerized by their opinions be them insignificant (mostly) or important (one, maybe) over the past year. Join with me, as I celebrate, in my own little way a few people who shouldn't quit their day job.

Andre Vieira, our not-so resident Motorsports expert. A witty writer whose opinions I look forward to reading. Judging by the minimal description he has provided he is a bleached-blond mimbo. As a Motorsports fan, he regales the world on a semi-regular basis with tales from the pit. Some are entertaining (I'm being nice) some are just plain weird. I do believe that Andre needs to confront his demons though. Say it with me please…'being a Motorsports fan is ok, I do not have to prove its worthiness to other people.' Andre seems to be a bit obsessed with making it 'ok' to watch Motorsports. And you know what folks, it is. Andre, you do not have to defend yourself as a fan of this sport. I must say his opinion on Lawnmower racing had me in tears laughing, probably unplanned but successful. But the most memorable moment came when Andre compared the losses of Sept. 11 to the loss of a favourite driver in an ON THE JOB accident. Ahhh Andre, I have enjoyed your musing. Please do not stop.

Tobi Rammo. Reading her opinions I picture a confident, intelligent and stuffy person. She crafts her work beautifully yet with a hint of puffery. I, and many others have enjoyed her opinions on minuet subjects such as, the common cold and hitchhiking topless teens. In fact a few other readers have sent in messages in response to the last opinion mentioned. Alas, I am sure the topless girl still isn't sitting waiting for them. Now, as a Doctor, I can't help but dispense advice to each mote I come in contact with. So Tobi, stick with the writing thing and keep on truckin' girl! Regardless of what anyone may say (did I just say that?!), Top Notch Work. Keep them coming, we'll keep them being read. Please continue to fascinate us all.

Jeremy Reynalds. Or, as he is pleasantly know around the B-dot-O offices, God Boy. Jeremy is a proud Christian and most notably, like a few other Christians (who am I kidding with this one) is a recruitment officer. He is an excellent writer with a passion for Christianity and everything God-like. He offers intelligent arguments to turn people from the dark side (read - anything other than Christianity). I will say this about Jeremy; I really don't think he pays much attention to the rest of the site. He would notice that religion is not that hot a topic; in fact it's a topic that some people are standing and pointing fingers at. He offers up some interesting reads, even if sometimes they are things such as comparing talk radio to Satan's Public Address system. A blanket statement if I have ever heard one. Whether it's plugging a charity or pontificating about Rush Limbaugh I am always a bit touched (in the head) after I read his stuff.

The breadth of opinionators keeps growing, that is a wonderful thing, and just before I go, I must point out another. A first time writer featured this week in the reader opinions section of BoldOpinion.com, The Death Dealer. Head on over to the main page and find his opinion. It's…well, it's an opinion.

A grand Happy Birthday wish to BoldOpinion.com
