Why So Angry Cletus?
We at BoldOpinion.com have stumbled upon a world exclusive for you our readers. The BdotO have in our possession an audio clip of William Ligue Jr and his son just before they burst onto the field in Chicago and viciously attacked Kansas City Royals first base coach Tom Gamboa. Below is the entire unedited conversation transcribed for your enjoyment:

Is it just me or has the whole world gone crazy?

What is with the sudden rash of unprovoked, unexplained, white trash outbreaks of violence? Is there something in the air around the trailer park? Did someone spike their water supply? It seems like recently we have been bombarded with ridiculous stories of spontaneous acts of violence perpetrated by the dregs of the lower social class. Father and son, side by side and shirtless to boot, jumping out of the stands and attacking the first base coach? A sadder story even the most hackneyed screenwriter could not spin. What were they thinking…or drinking for that matter? And why the first base coach? No offense to this kind victim but his job doesn't really inspire heat? Though I still could not condone it, a player or umpire would have made more sense. The first base coach? What could have prompted this…? "That first base coach has told my team to bunt for the last god damn time!!!!"

Is anyone else disgusted at these Mothers flexing their action hero muscles against their own children? Like Madelyne Gorman Toogood from Indiana who was caught on a parking lot security camera punching, slapping, and shaking her four year old daughter. And this was no disciplinary slap on the wrist either Madelyne was clearly going for the knockout with some of these shots. Despite her stories of her own innocence Gorman was so obviously in the wrong because as demonstrated on the footage she was looking around to make sure no one was watching. "Coast is clear…unleash the fists of fury!" Or perhaps the Mother in Fort Myers who is facing charges for beating her three year old son with a fly swatter (leaving him badly bruised). And why you ask? She was upset because the boy ate a pack of gum. A pack of gum?!?! The nerve on that kid! Good lord how pathetic are these stories? At least the shirtless father and son combo got their just desserts when the dug out cleared and the ball players proceeded to beat them senseless. Perhaps we should let these Mothers go a few rounds with boxers Lennox Lewis or Roy Jones Jr. The size and strength difference between them and the boxers seems equal to the discrepancy between an adult to a 3 year old child. Maybe that would smarten them up?

Some may take my offense that I am labeling the aforementioned suspects as white trash but let me explain. Let us forget about colour for a moment here and focus more tightly on the key descriptor "trash". Because that is what these people are. By their actions they are defining themselves as abusive, contemptible, and worthless. Regardless of income level these morons are choosing to act in a way outside of the acceptable status. Anyone who would lower themselves to beating their child out in public, bruising their son over something so simple as a pack of gum, or inspiring their child to attack a professional baseball player is a lower social class. Period.

Hey folks, we are trying to have a society here…care to join us?

…but that's just my opinion.
