Many a female have trouble comprehending man's bizarre fascination with the world of swinging neckbeakers and abdominal stretches. If we must rationalize it, here goes, it has everything men look for in television entertainment. Violence, vengeance, shocks, surprises, and tits & ass. Clearly it is quality entertainment.
Now like any bizarre passion, we must look to the vaunted internet to provide us every last detail about wrestling. There are countless wrestling sites that float around the world wide web but there is only one that is the definitive news source for all things rasslin'. For fans in the know, 1wrestling.com is the ONLY destination.
1wrestling.com is without a doubt the absolute best web resource for wrestling. Period. This site above all satisfies one of the key necessities of any ideal web destination…fresh content. 1wrestling updates multiple times a day. And I mean multiple times. There is nothing that creates loyalty to a website more then frequent updates and a large depth of content. 1wrestling houses a wide variety of content for wrestling fanatics including reviews, news, rumors, real player radio shows, commentaries, and above all my personal fav the "backstage notes". Writers Dave Scherer, Buck Woodward and others cover all of your WWE needs but also focus on the major independents (including NWA-TNA, Ring of Honor and XPW ) and the international scene. If there be grapplin' they be coverin' it!
The coverage and commentary is handled very well. The writing on the site is not too typical "wrestling journalist snobby". Scherer in particular has enough inside information and knowledge to make educated opinions and comments but his enthusiasm for the sport shines through in his writing. I feel sometimes that a majority of the wrestling journalists forget about just being a "fan". Many refuse to allow themselves to just caught up in the spectacle or entertainment of wrestling. Sometimes you don't need to explain why something works…it just does.
My biggest gripe about the site would have to be the endless supply of pop-up ads that users are flooded with upon each visit. I understand that the creators of 1wrestling have to do this to keep the site in business but honestly the volume of ads is quite ridiculous. You can't visit this site without spawning at least six ad windows. It is very annoying…but I guess it's the one sacrifice to learn the goods on Matt Hardy, Version 1.0!
